"As the name suggests it will be about the world of modeling, the ramp walkers, their loves, lives and lies, so to say," Madhur is delighted by his latest slice of life on screen.
"After a film on the street people, it would be a nice contrast for me to go straight into the world of glamour and beauty. In fact Fashion would be my most glamorous film to date."
To make sure he has the budget to make the beau monde look real, Madhur's take on the ramp will be produced by the generous UTV. "I think this time I can really go all-out," he laughs. "In fact I was in Delhi for the India Fashion Week.
I studied researched and interviewed a large number of models and model co-ordinators, fashion designers and others connected with modeling, Trust me, Fashion will be an expose like never before," the director of such real-life dramas as Chandni Bar, Page 3 and Corporate vows to wow again.
The most interesting Fashion-related news...Madhur will have real-life models and authentic characters from the ramp in the plot, their sex lives won't be spared either.
"I'm going the whole hog. Yes, there will be real models. But since this is a big -budget film it will also have big stars. But no, it isn't going to be a female-oriented film like my other works.
And by the way Fashion will be my first film to be shot abroad. I plan to shoot it in Milan, Paris and other international sartorial centres," says Madhur who's expected to be a father within a week.
"At least grant me the credit for always trying to be different," he says.
