The trailer of Zee5's upcoming romantic-comedy film Shukranu is finally out and it is a hotbed of situational comedy and laughter.

Shukranu is set in the year 1975 in the emergency era of India. The film follows the story of a young man Inder (Divyendu Sharma) who just like thousands of other married and bachelor men at that time had to undergo the process of male sterilization but forcibly.

Inder gets married to Reema (Shweta Basu Prasad) but is unable to live a happy married life due to his mental agony by sterilization that keeps haunting him. His relationship with his wife keeps deteriorating and this results in the couple and the family members creating quite a drama.

Finally, Inder finds solace in an attractive young girl Akriti (Sheetal Thakur) and starts an extramarital affair with resulting in a lot of situational twists & turns and comedy. Watch the trailer here -



Directed by national award-winning Bishnu Dev Halder, Shukranu stars Dvyendu Sharma, Shweta Basu Prasad and Sheetal Thakur in lead roles. The film is the debut digital venture of Reliance Entertainment and will premiere exclusively on Zee5 on February 14th, Valentine's Day.
