For most actors, television has always been a ladder to make it big in the Bollywood. But there are exceptions too. Many like Shah Rukh Khan are not ashamed to talk about their careers in the television and what they have gained from the medium.

But Zee TV's Ravan aka Narien Jha is a tad different in this matter. Recently, at the music launch of the film Eik Dasttak, it was revealed that Narein Jha plays the main lead in the movie. Naturally, Jha too appeared to be very excited about the fanfare surrounding the event.

But when asked about his experience of playing Ravan on TV, he tried to cut it short. Probably, he was ashamed and felt uncomfortable to dwell on the topic for long.

"It's good", he simply said. When prodded to elaborate more on this, Jha got irritated and said, "You are here to witness the music release of my film, and so you should only ask me questions related to the movie. I hope you understand this."

Jha didn't seem to care about the fact that the people present there were whispering, "Are ye to Zee TV ka Ravan hai (He is Zee TV's Ravan)". Although people still recognise him for his role in the television, Jha seems to be reluctant to accept the fact.

By the way, Mr Jha, has this got something to do with the fact that the show is not getting good TRPs? Looks like TRPs rule the lives of actors much more than good content does! - (SAMPURN)
