The cast of Rajshri's 'Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki' on SaharaOne celebrated the birthday of actress Reena Kapoor on the sets of the show at Visage Studios, Jogeshwari recently.

Reena was visibly touched by the festivity and the large black forest cake that awaited her.

"I never expected this. The 'Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki' pariwar was so warm to me that I can't explain.

They wanted to share my birthday with me and hence this surprise festivity a day before," said Reena who relished the cake with the serial family.

While Anang Desai who plays grandpa, blessed her with "happiness, and more happiness," Kanika Kohli who is her step-sister in the show, felt that "this birthday, all the blessings of elders should work for Reena.

Material things apart, it is these blessings that make a difference," she said. Reena's costar Aamir Ali felt that she should always remain the same chirpy Reena and should achieve her long-cherished desire of buying this really really large house this year along with her real-life husband Karan.

The casting of the show couldn't have been more perfect," avered Aamir. "Reena is the quintessential Indian woman who is both an able home-maker and a brilliant actress."

Reena on the other hand was just happy. She avered that the best gift she could ever get was her husband Karan. "The best surprise I ever got was when Karan surprised me before marriage by coming to Mumbai on my birthday. The best gift I have got is my husband.
