Amidst the global outbreak of the Coronavirus, the entertainment industry has taken a hit. Several movies including the upcoming James Bond movie are being pushed back from their intended release dates and new releases are seeing an impact on their box office collections.

In a recent development, Delhi Govt. has declared that schools, colleges and movie theatres will be shut till March 31 due to Coronavirus outbreak.

As the movies are being pushed back due to the outbreak, many new releases have also gotten hit by the pandemic. The box-office collections of films are proof that the coming days will be even tougher for the industry.

Trade projections suggest that big-ticket films are likely to see a 15-20 percent impact on their collections and small ticket films will see a higher impact of up to 25-30 percent.
