The global Coronavirus outbreak has brought the world to a standstill. While it is true that health takes precedence over money, but the outbreak has caused businesses across the globe to incur billions of losses. The film industry too has taken an enormous hit given that the production of several films has been shut down and several films have been pushed back indefinitely as a precautionary measure. Several Bollywood celebs have self-quarantined and found alternative ways to be productive. Its effects are not limited to businesses but also the wedding plans of actors Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal.
The couple, who have been the talk of the town for a while now, had been aiming at an April wedding but now it seems that their plans have hit a roadblock owing to the rapidly spreading pathogen. The preparations were in full swing and if reports are to be believed, they had even submitted their marriage application in the family court in the city. But the rampant spread of the virus has resulted in the global death count surpassing 6000, and with that, it has put Richa and Ali's wedding plans on hold.
A report close to the development said, "Many of their guests were to fly in from the US and Europe for the do. Also, the couple was hoping to have their nuptials in Delhi, which is currently on partial lockdown. So, they think it's best to delay the wedding to later this year." Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal have not made any official announcement yet. They might be tying the knot later this year when the contagion subsides and the situation gets under control.
