When asked how he is feeling that ‘Kulavaddhu' will soon be off the air, Sachin says, "Yes to some extend it is disappointing. The show had good potential, good story, good cast, and a good production house. It was a time when the show was picking up, the story material was good; the audience had started enjoying it."
Sachin, however, does not have an answer as to what went wrong with the show in spite of it having so much potential. "I don't think I have an answer. Some things are better unanswered," he utters.
Anyways, Sachin is thankful to the producers of ‘Kulavaddhu' as it provided him with the opportunity make good friends.
He says that the members of the cast and crew of ‘Kulavaddhu' were like a family. "I'm on this show for only a month-and-a-half, but I share a very good bond with everyone. Everyone is amazing on the sets.
We don't have a professional relational relationship its something personal," Sachin reminisces fondly. And how he says he will not only be missing them, but also the fun they had on the sets.
Of them all, Sachin would probably be missing Daljit the most! "It was very good working with Daljit. Although she is raw, I have learnt a lot from her too especially her ‘Sardarni' tricks," says Sachin.
Talking about the experienced actors on the set like Kitu Gidwani and producer Anuj Saxena, Sachin says, "Actually ‘Kulvaddhu' has a very good mixture of actors. Where there are experienced actors, who guide us, there are these young energetic actors as well. The crew is also very good. The entire combination is very rare in the industry."
Now that ‘Kulavaddhu' is drawing to an end, Sachin has signed up a movie called ‘Mummy Ji'. The shooting of the film is complete and they are presently doing the dubbing for it. Although the date is yet to be finalized, the film is expected to hit the theatres by May. Although he is pinning his hopes on ‘Mummy Ji', Sachin refuses to divulge much about his role or the film's storyline now.
Although Sachin says that he is not in a mood to snap ties with the television, he cherishes to do more and more films and is presently going through a number of scripts. "Let's see what the future hold for me. I'm getting offers and reading scripts. I'm interested in doing films and will take up offers as and when I like them."
When asked if he would do more of films or television, the young actor says, " Television is my baby. I started my acting career with the television. Whatever I'm today is because of television. Many actors crib that television has long shooting hours, but I like it. I can never leave television," says Sachin honestly. - (SAMPURN)
