Kanika Kapoor, an Indian singer known for superhit songs like 'Baby Dolls' and 'Chitti Kalaiyaan' who recently returned from London, has been found to be positive for corona virus. Currently, Kanika has been admitted to King George's Medical University in Uttar Pradesh where she is kept in Isolation and is undergoing treatment.



It is a matter she also organized a party in a five star hotel in Lucknow and attended a party at a five star hotel after that where many personalities from the entertainment world, government officials and many politicians were also present. After Kanika's test is found positive, Lucknow health officials are in a dilemma about how to Isolate the people of the building she is residing in and the the people whom she came in contact with at the party.

Hello everyone, For the past 4 days I have had signs of flu, I got myself tested and it came positive for Covid-19. My family and I are in complete quarantine now and following medical advice on how to move forward. Contact mapping of people I have been in touch with is underway aswell. I was scanned at the airport as per normal procedure 10days ago when I came back home, the symptoms have developed only 4 days ago. At this stage I would like to urge you all to practice self isolation and get tested if you have the signs. I am feeling ok, like a normal flu and a mild fever, however we need to be sensible citizens at this time and think of all around us. So far, a total of 195 cases of coronavirus have been registered in India and Kanika is the first celebrity in the list. Today a total of four people in Lucknow were tested positive for this virus, including Kanika. A total of 23 corona virus cases have been reported so far in Uttar Pradesh.
