How work pressure takes over young married lives in the metros and jeopardises their personal life is the theme of Anand Kumar's maiden directorial venture "Delhii Heights", releasing Friday.

Written by Kumar, the film stars Jimmy Shergill, Neha Dhupia, Om Puri, Rohit Roy, Simone Singh, Vivek Shauq and Kamini Khanna and revolves around the lives of the residents of Delhii Heights, a high-rise apartment in the national capital.

Abi (Jimmy) and Suhana (Neha), a young married couple who work for rival companies, live in this apartment. Though they have just started their lives together, their jobs cast a shadow on personal equations.

Timmy Kohli (Om), a fun loving Sikh, and his wife Ruby (Kamini) also live in the same complex with their two daughters. Then there is a compulsive flirt Bobby (Rohit) and his wife Saima (Simone).

There is also Lucky (Vivek), a cricket bookie and a hilarious character. And last, but not the least, there are four boys who keep running after girls and keep pulling each other's legs. How these stories run simultaneously is one of the highpoints of the film.

The film marks the return of Sivaji Productions, the banner founded by Sivaji Ganesan 50 years ago with a Hindi film titled "Amar Deep" (1958), to Hindi films.

The music is by singer Rabbi Shergill, who makes a debut in films as music director and lyricist.

With no big releases scheduled this week, the film might just make a mark at the box office.
