Often do we see actors speaking about how a particular role is poles apart to their personality. But when it comes to Nikhil Bhambri, the actor who plays Tidda in the ALTBalaji and ZEE5 starrer Who's Your Daddy? one can say that he's very much playing himself. With the role fitting Nikhil exactly like a glove, the actor has received appreciation aplenty for his comic timing that has left audiences in splits. While in the show, Tidda is on the constant lookout for his mother and is raised by a single father, In real life too Nikhil lost his mother at a very young age. But the most glaring similarity between Tidda and Nikhil is of the bond they share with their father. Just like Tidda and his father Soggy (played by Harsh Beniwal), who share an extremely friendly bond in the show, there's no prize for guessing who is Nikhil's best friend in his real life.

Speaking about his role and the resemblance to his personal life, Nikhil Bhambri said, ` After my mother passed away when I was very young, I have been raised by my Dad. I developed a beautiful bond with my dad and we are the best of friends. We hang out, go shopping together, crack jokes and pull each other's leg. As a millennial kid, I know everything about technology, so when my dad wants to know something he comes to me. And when I want to know something about finances and banking then he is always to my rescue. While we may be father and son but we share a special bond just like the best of friends. Likewise, on-screen, Tidda's relationship with his dad Soggy is extremely similar to my real life. That's why, it was very easy for me to play Tidda on-screen because I was the same off-screen with my dad, thanks to the relationship that we share.`

Who's Your Daddy showcases the story of how Soggy's father becomes an overnight star with the lady patrons of the DVD world and how the duo run a successful business until their world turns upside down. Amidst this entire chaos, nobody seems to find the answer to one question - 'Soggy Ke Bete Tidda Ka Daddy Kaun Hai?'
