Indian Idol 3 will have not one but three judges. Along with replacement judges, Alisha Chinai and Udit Narayan (who have taken the
place of Farah Khan and Sonu Nigam) and Anu Malik, Indian Idol 3 will also have eminent lyricist and story writer Javed Akhtar as a
judge.
He is a late entry into the show but has promised to contribute his bit to the journey in the search of that ‘one
voice'.
Akhtar feels that now the jury is a complete one. "A song contains three essential parts dhun, awaz and bole.
For dhun or
composition we have Anu Maliik, we have both male and female awaz, Udit and Alisha, and I am the bole or lyricist", he said in his
trademark style. Javed is sure that with such a combination, they will be able to choose Bharat Ki Shaan who India will be proud
of.
For the uninitiated, this is the second reality show for Javed, the first one being 'Fame Gurukul'. Famous for his criticism on the
pronunciation of words, Javed says that pronunciation is very necessary for any singer and even this time he would be helping the
participant with their talaffuz. - (SAMPURN)
