Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan not known to be overly fond of each other, and will hardly share any screen space too, except for the climax sequence in the supernatural film in Ravi Chopra's Bhoothnath. This might be a conscious move on the part of the production house to avoid any friction between the actors.
Big B plays a ghost in the film, making it relatively easy for the makers to tweak the screenplay. Apparently, mortal beings cannot see Bhoothnath (Bachchan) and so SRK will conveniently see through his fellow colleague in the film.
The duo is yet to shoot their respective sequences and since Bachchan has put his foot down and told the production house that he will face the camera only after son Abhishek's wedding the film will only be completed by June-July.
Earlier too, the actor had delayed the schedule due to mother Teji Bachchan's ill-health. "Mr Bachchan will not shoot for a month as he is busy with the wedding preparations. But that won't cause any delay. We will shoot in back-to-back schedules, in June and July," Ravi Chopra says.
The plot has SRK and Juhi Chawla playing a couple who move to Goa with their son. The kid befriends an eerie spirit, Bhoothnath. An expensive set will be erected at Film City where the next schedule will be shot.
