Fed up with channel's ill treatment since long, Laughter champion Sunil Pal has finally bid adieu to Zee's 'Antakshari'. A lesser known singer-cum-TV actor Karan Oberoi, more popular as actor Mona Singh's (Jassi fame) boyfriend is selected as the replacement by Zee.

Sunil had earlier given hints of things not going well between him and channel, when he, in an interview with us, alleged Zee TV to be bullying him. He had also left the shoot mid-way for the semi-final episode after he was allegedly maltreated by actor Sharad Kelkar and his wife Kirti.

This time, however, the comedian is more diplomatic and describes this situation as a ‘career break'. "After doing the first season of Antakshari, I have decided to take a break and I will no more be seen in the show after a couple of episodes," said Sunil, in an attempt to put the blame game to the rest.

He also denied of any grudges between him and Zee and says ‘Everthing had been sorted out mutually.' Sunil also said he will be very busy in the coming days in live stage shows and is also looking forward to his films which will be releasing soon.

On the other hand, a spokesperson from Zee confirmed the news of Pal being replaced by Karan Oberoi by sending a SMS to this reporter.
