Is the whole world going Bollywood crazy? With Lagaan scheduled for a re release in the UK, and Amisha Patel being flown over to London to judge a beauty contest, you could certainly think the British have become Bollywood mad!

Well, here`s another piece of news that offers further proof: The Evening Standard Magazine (which accompanies London`s leading newspaper Evening Standard) on Friday 8th March 2002 has carried a front-page feature on everything to do with Bollywood! The feature names Hrithik Roshan as Bollywood`s version of Josh Harnett, Madhuri Dixit as Bollywood`s very own Gwyneth Paltrow, Shah Rukh Khan as Brad Pitt, Amitabh Bachchan as Cary Grant, Aishwarya Rai as Julia Roberts, Kajol as Cameron Diaz and Aamir Khan as Tom Hanks.

We don`t know if we agree with all those comparisons, but it was certainly an interesting read. If you think you have better comparisons, why not email us or leave a message on our forum?
