Rana Ranbir pens a touching poem on the plight of migrant workers due to the lockdown

The Covid-19 pandemic, besides taking a toll on human life, has brought to focus the underbelly of society. For the migrant workers the story is as simple as if they don't have food, hunger will kill them and if they go outside, the virus will kill them. So, during the lockdown, thousands of these migrant workers have started walking towards their homes in absence of any transport facilities. Everybody is feeling their pain as they are stuck away from their homes and their famikies are starving for food.

Punjabi actor Rana Ranbir who is known for sharing his writings on social media with the fans recently shared a touching and emorional poem highlighting the plight of the migrant workers on Instagram. The poem is really beautiful and talks about the helplessness of the workers in a critical way. Check it out-

Meanwhile, on the work front, Rana Ranbir was shooting for 'Maa' before the lockdown. The movie's production has been suspended until further notice. Also, Rana's second directorial 'Posti', which was supposed to release on March 20th, has also been postponed owing to the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic.
