After the movie business, Anushka Sharma recently ventured into the digital entertainment world with her latest crime-thriller web series Pataal Lok. From the audience to the critics, everyone liked the series and it was getting only praises until now. Yes, and that is because a lawyer has now sent a legal notice to Anushka over some controversial dialogues of the Amazon Prime web series.
Pataal Lok has an interrogation scene where a female police officer makes a casteist remark on a Nepali character over which a lawyer named M. Viren Sri Gurung has served a legal notice to the producer of the show Anushka Sharma. According to the report of a news portal, so far, Gurung hasn't received any response from Anushka's side on the matter.
Directed by Avinash Arun and Prosit Roy, Pataal Lok stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Gul Panag, Neeraj and Abhishek Banerjee in lead roles and Ishwak Singh, Swastika Mukherjee, Sandeep Mahajan, Jagjit Sandhu, Asif Khan, Niharika, Bodhisattva Sharma, Anindita Bose, Vipin Sharma, Manish Chaudhary, Akash Khurana, Rajesh Sharma and Anoop Jalota in supporting roles. This 9-episode series was released on May 15th on Amazon Prime.
