The lockdown has increased the traffic on digital platforms manifold due to the cinema halls shut down and Netflix is using this opportunity to fulfil the fans' needs and capture the market with more and more interesting content on its way. The next in line is their thriller-drama film 'Choked' whose trailer is out now and it seems to live up to its title perfectly.

Choked is the story of a lower middle married woman (Saiyami Kher) who is a hapless bank cashier struggling through life with her family to make the ends meet. Her life then takes an unexpectedly interesting turn when she discovers the source of unlimited money flowing through pipes in her house. But, her happiness is short-lived as soon after demonetization of the 500 and 1000 currency notes is announced. So what will happen when the world becomes suspicious of her newfound fortunes?. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, Choked is his first full-length feature film releasing on Netflix. It stars Saiyami Kher, Roshan Mathew, Amruta Subhash, and Rajshri Deshpande in lead roles and will premiere on Netflix on June 5th, 2020.
