Rakesh Bapat has been luckier with his TV career unlike his film one. He made an exit from Saath Phere a few months back only to be called back sometime later.

Now again as his track ends in Saat Phere, he has found work once more with the same production company Sphere Origins. Rakesh is now replacing Arjun Punj as Prem, in the Star One serial Saathii Re.

Reportedly Arjun was not happy with his character and thus bid adieu to the serial where as Rakesh who was waiting for an opportunity grabbed it. Arjun's character had turned negative and it could be one of the reasons to his quitting the serial.

When contacted, Arjun said, "It is a stale story about four months old. I don't want to say anything about it now". But it's a surprising reply since Saathii Re has been on air for only six months now and Arjun is still seen around. Looks like Arjun wants to evade the topic.

Anyways, this is a happy co-incidence for Rakesh and Parakh Madan, who happens to be the leading lady of Saathii Re. The tow some had earlier shared the screen in the movie Jai Santoshi Maa. - (SAMPURN)
