Aamir Khan fans were waiting for the release of Lal Singh Chaddha on Christmas but due to coronavirus pandemic makers have already pushed the movie to 2021. The pseudo-historic epic drama movie will assimilate the landmark happenings in India history through the eyes of a Sikh individual played by Aamir Khan. But now according to the inside sources makers are also planning to incorporate the coronavirus pandemic plot in the movie.
Aamir Khan's project 'Lal Singh Chaddha' is based on the 1994 Tom Hanks starrer Hollywood film 'Forrest Gump'. Aamir will be playing a Sardarji for the first time in the film and Kareena Kapoor Khan will portray the role of his wife. The movie star cast also includes Mona Singh and Vijay Sethupathi in central roles.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Amir stated that, `This character is very lovable. He's so innocent... he has got this different way of looking at things. He's someone you immediately empathise with when you connect. Unless I perform it badly (laughs), then it's a different game. As a written character, it's such that you'd fall in love with him straight away.`
Amir and Kareena are reuniting after the gap of 11 years in 'Lal Singh Chaddha'. The Movie is going to be directed by Secret Superstar fame director Advait Chandan and produced by Amir Khan and wife Kiran Rao.
