Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha sizzled on screen and the stuff of their chemistry continues to excite Indians still, so naturally when we caught Rekha and Jaya Bachchan in a Silisila-esque moment at a function, the photographers went berserk.

That was indeed the only time Rekha and Jaya Bachchan shared a camera frame before this picture was clicked was for Silsila (1981).

Jaya Bachchan has never really spoken about Rekha though the latter has often gushed about her didibhai, as she refers to Jaya. Truly, ye kajan aa gaye hum.
