Things don't seem to be going smoothly between director Suneel Darshan and actress Kangana. On one hand Kangana is unhappy that her voice was dubbed for 'Shaka
Laka Boom Boom', while on the other Suneel says that Kangana did not give the film the attention it deserved.
If we have to believe Kangana and her near ones, "It does sound like Celina". But nothing is for sure except the fact that it is not Kangana's voice in the film.
Defending himself, Suneel merely has to say, "I don't do anything that's not contractually specified. And I certainly don't do anything underhand. Beyond that I don't wish to
comment on Kangana and her dubbing at all."
The director accuses Kangana of not having dedicated her time for the film so that he could work on the accent since her character did require a 'twang and accent'. But
Kangana retorts that all her films are equally 'precious' for her and it is not her fault if she cannot speak the Queen's English and is better conversant in Hindi.
Suneel, however, confirms that Kangana's voice was dubbed by 'another artiste'.
What ever is the truth but there is no point crying over spilt milk. 'Shaka laka Boom Boom' has come and gone. -
