How many times was he slapped by Bina Kak in the movie "Maine Pyar Kyon Kiya"? Would they be invited when he gets married? These were some of the queries made
by the mentally challenged children to Bollywood star Salman Khan when he went to spend some time with them here Friday.
These children are looked after by Umang, an organisation that works for the welfare of mentally challenged students in the city.
The sparkle of joy was visible in the eyes of these kids who were very happy to have their favourite star among them.
Salman, who arrived along with Rajasthan's former tourism minister Bina Kak at Umang, was garlanded by school kids. He recalled his childhood and was emotionally
involved with the children.
"We had sent SMS to six people to help Umang and Salman was one of them. He gave us good response and came here," Deepak Kalara in-charge of Umang, told here
Saturday.
Two of Umang students also presented special cards to Salman. These cards were prepared by the kids who painted Salman's photograph on them, he said.
A few of the students of Umang started singing songs when they saw the Bollywood star entering the school.
One of the students, Neha, requested the actor to ask their teacher to give them an official holiday April 19, as Salman was getting married on that day.
"I'll attend Salman's wedding and will wear 'lehenga' (a traditional outfit for girls)," Neha said.
Later, Salman danced with the kids and distributed gifts among them.
