"I was touching up my eye makeup on the sets of Titan Antakshari when my hand kind of slipped and the sharp object, a safety pin, that I was holding went into my eye and hurt the cornea" recalls Juhi.
Apparently the wound did look serious as there was blood in the eye. She was rushed to an eye surgeon who gave her some first aid after which she resumed shooting. "There was still pain and swelling in the eye, so after the shoot got over I revisited the doctor who this time bandaged my eye".
Thought the bandage was opened on Thursday, the doctor advised her to stay away from harsh lights, thus the shooting for Kumkum had been called off for that day. "There is nothing serious but the doctor has given me a few eye drops and has asked me to take care of the eye. I hope to return to normal shoting very soon. But I am vowing never going to do any make-up near my eye ever again ", says Juhi.
On being asked about the rumours doing the rounds about her five year old serial Kumkum going off air, Juhi got hyper and replied, "The news is all rubbish and we have no clue as to who is doing this. It is probably the work of the people who cannot digest the success of Kumkum even after thousand episodes. It is all rubbish. Kumkum never went for any kind of cheap publicity and does not require any ".
Juhi sure is passionate about her work and that explains her sticking to her routine, come what may. -
