Akshay Kumar landed in Jaipur for the shooting of Bhool Bhulaiya in Jaipur, to discover that the production office had sent a modest Toyota Innova to fetch him from the airport.

Unhappy with the modest car, Akshay called the production executives and demanding a Mercedes Benz to pick him up instead."

After an hour at the airport for the luxury car to arrive he did not reach his hotel in the Mercedes that had arrived to pick him up!

Minutes after the Mercedes pulled away from the airport, it met with an accident. Luckily, Akshay was not hurt.

Though, not a very serious accident, the car was in no state to be driven in and Akshay eventually had to travel by a family car made available by the producer.

Priyadarshan, the director of the film, was unavailable for comment. But we spoke to his executive producer Vijay Kumar, who denied that the office had sent an Innova to the airport to fetch Akshay.

"We had kept a Mercedes ready for Akshay, which was then sent to pick him up. But yes, he could not travel by that as the driver rammed the car into some railings near the airport. Luckily, our local manager Mr Kalra was nearby, and he brought Akshay to the hotel in his car."

Bhool Bhulaiya is a remake of the 1993 Malayalam super hit Manichithra Thazhu, and also stars Amisha Patel, Shiney Ahuja and Vidya Balan
