Kashmira Shah has seen through the Mumbai film industry, but she refuses to play ball to stay in circulation."One needs to be a perfect fake in this industry to allow absurdity, crassness and crudity get the better of you," says the voluptuous bombshell who hasn`t made it despite getting noticed in Ram Gopal Varma`s Jungle.

Ramu himself has described her as "extremely versatile, but sadly her outspokenness comes in the way of her work in this phony world." Finding roles hard to come by, Kashmira went abroad and met some Hollywood agents who have finalised her for two big budget projects. She also met her "dream man," a American-German who is so besotted with her that he follows her to Mumbai whenever she shoot there.

Alas, Kashmira only shoots for dance routines, which don`t last for more than four to five days. She just packs up and leaves, refraining from sucking up to producers and directors for roles. Girls with minds of their own do not make much headway in tinsel town!
