Fans were excitedly waiting for the release date of Mahesh Bhatt's 'Sadak 2', a sequel to the 1991 film 'Sadak'. The wait is now over as the date has been finalized and the film will premiere on August 28th, 2020 on Disney + Hotstar. The film stars Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt, Pooja Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur in the lead roles.

Produced by Mukesh Bhatt under the Vishesh Films, it marks the return of Mahesh Bhatt into the direction after 20 years. Movie critic Taran Adarsh shared the intriguing poster of the film where Alia, Sanjay, and Aditya Roy can be seen standing on a road. Check out the poster here -

The film was initially scheduled for release on 25 March 2020 but had to be postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Later, the film's rights were bought by Disney+Hotstar and now the film is set to premiere on the digital platform on August 28th.
