With a 4 years gap, Bipasha Basu came back with her husband Karan Singh Grover after their movie 'Alone' with a MX Player action thriller web series 'Dangerous' which is all about love, betrayal and a series of murders. The story begins with Neha Singh (Bipasha Basu ) who is a police officer recently transferred to the city and joins the first case of her ex-boyfriend, (Karan Singh Grover) Aditya Dhanraj's wife Dia Dhanraj (Sonali Raut). Dia is a badass wife who indulges in drugs and has an extra marital affair with her husband's friend cum driver, Vishal Vashisht (Suyyash Rai). She unsuspectedly goes missing on her way to the gym and this is where the story takes off.

The whole plot revolves around the missing case of Dia but if we talk about the structure of the series it seems the journey is going nowhere along with various other discrepancies. Despite delivering a thriller storyline it is just a hocus-pocus to play with the psychology of viewers. Only at a few points, it appears to be suspenseful but in reality, it is not that at all, because the twists are so predictable and what you'll find is the trail of murders.

No doubt, the roles of the female characters in terms of approach, limelight and appearance is powerful but the storyline is a cliche which can easily take your eye balls off the screen. Bipasha as Neha plays her role very gracefully and expressively in all kinds of emotions whether it's love, sadness or showing anger. Karan Singh Grover has the same facial expression in all the episodes so it is quite easy to criticize that his acting is not up to the mark. Apart from these leads, Sonali Raut & Natasha Suri's acting as the side roles is fine and both have done a great job and showing a poise of sensuality across the show.Suyyash Rai is dull in the story and we wonder why he was even offered this role,he probably should give up acting and pursue an alternate career.

The editing of the series is decent and the scenes are connected in a smooth way. Flashbacks are clear and will not confuse you in the present-past scenario. In fact, the cinematography is also very nice, the shots are taken in a clean manner. But at some points, it could have been much better so that the series sustained the interest of the audience. If we talk about the locations, since it has been shot abroad there aren't many scenic views you can witness in the series.

Music is soothing and the visualisations in some of the songs are appealing, where one can see some love making scenes as well. Songs are very apt for each situation as it is depicted.

As a director, Bhushan Patel's work is not up to mark as the thrill element is inadequate which is expected from the series going by it's name 'Dangerous'. All in all, it's a series which is not at all dangerous and fails to do justice to the title.
