The director Yagnesh Shetty says, "It's a James Bond meets Matrix meets Charlie's Angels flick." Boomerang will be loaded with action stunts and special effects and the storyline will revolve entirely around the three girls. No heroes.Boomerang will be shot at outdoor locations in Cyprus and China, among other locations.
"We are working with a special effects and stunt team from Australia, who have earlier worked on the Matrix trilogy. The look will be very gadget-oriented. Each of the girls will be trained to handle one particular weapon. We have designed special body suits for each of them," says Shetty.
The three girls have also been undergoing heavy training sessions under supervision to prepare for the film. Amrita Arora, whose character has been modelled on Drew Barrymore's on-screen avatar is very excited about this film. Yagnesh adds that the film won't have any romantic songs.
