Indian Idol has sure gone places. Listen to this.

An ardent viewer traveled almost the entire length of the country to make to the Indian idol auditions. Yes! He came all the way from Andaman and Nicobar Islands to Chennai, where he was told that the auditions were taking place in Bhopal. So, he simply took the next train available to Bhopal and landed up at the auditions.

And if you thought he was there solely to perform and participate in the contest, you were wrong. This man is one with a purpose.

He was at Bhopal because he wanted to tell the people on the Indian mainland that Andaman is not the land of tribes and primitive people, that people on the island also watch TV, love music and want to be given the opportunity to perform on a national platform.

Maybe that's why Indian Idol auditions were also held in Dubai and London this year! - (SAMPURN)
