Several new claims have been cropping up in Sushant's case every day due to which it has become the talk of the town. The NCB had registered a case against Rhea Chakraborty and others on August 26th, but according to the latest reports, the agency has now filed a criminal case as well.  On the other side, talking about the drug allegations, Rhea's lawyer, in a statement had stated that she has never consumed drugs and is ready for a blood test any time to prove the same.

Along with Rhea, Farooq Batata and Chinki Pathan, 2 alleged drug peddlers are also under the lens of the Narcotics Control Bureau.

Advocate Ashok Saraogi, the lawyer of Sushant's former manager Shruti Modi, alleged that the actor's relationship with his family was not cordial. Besides alleging that the family knew of the actor's drug consumption, he also alleged that they were the reason Sushant checked himself into the hospital.

More about the drug angle, he claims that the late actor was into drugs even before he got into a relationship with Rhea Chakraborty and his family knew that he consumed drugs. He also said, Sushant's sister used to attend several parties at his house but didn't mention their names.

Talking about this matter, Saraogi claimed that in November 2019, Sushant's three sisters came to meet him and they were scheduled to fly back together. However, the siblings got into a huge fight at the actor's house and then checked into a hotel.

Disturbed by the fight, the actor reportedly admitted himself into Hinduja Hospital at Khar on November 28th. When in hospital, his father reportedly called the staff asking to speak to his son. However, Rajput alleged that talking to his family landed him in the hospital and that talking to his father 'would deteriorate his condition further'. Hence he refused to take the call.

Shruti Modi along with Rhea is currently being questioned at the CBI guest house in Mumbai. Modi was earlier interrogated by ED as well during which she had revealed that Rhea used to take all the financial decisions.
