On June 14th, When Sushant Singh Rajput's death news went viral all over the nation, it shocked not only India but globally also his death news grabbed the international media attention. After the news, everyone starts seeking justice for the late actor. For now, the death case has been transferred to CBI and the investigation bureau is working on the case.

According to the media reports, Sushant Singh Rajput is going to be honored at Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards in 2021. Recently, Sushant's sister Shweta Singh Kirti had shared a news on her social media that the California Legislature Assembly on 74th Independence day had also acknowledged the contribution of the late actor to the film industry. If we believe in buzz then one more news is circulating in the media circuit that the actor could be awarded the prestigious 'Padma-Bhushan' award.

Presented first in 1969, the Dadasaheb Phalke award was introduced by the Government of India to commemorate Dadasaheb Phalke's contribution to Indian cinema. Phalke (1870-1944), who is popularly known as and often regarded as 'the father of Indian cinema'. Late Dadasaheb Phalke had directed India's first full-length feature film, 'Raja Harishchandra' (1913).

In a career span of 12 years, Sushant Singh Rajput had worked in eleven films but unfortunately, 'Dil Bechara' sought to be his last movie which was released on the Disney+Hotstar platform rather than big-screens due to global pandemic situation. Dil Bechara got a great response from the audience with over 95 million views in just 24 hours.
