B Ramalinga Raju has claimed that the series narrative contained half-truths and was palpably designed to bring down his reputation. On the other side, Mehul Choksi, who is also accused of various financial frauds, had sought a preview of the documentary. He too earlier approached the Delhi High Court through his lawyer but his plea was declined by the court.
In August month, Netflix had announced that the documentary 'Bad BoyBillionaires: India' based on the four biggest scams of India which include Nirav Modi scam, Satyam, Sahara and Kingfisher scam will release on September 2 but due to its controversial theme the series is unable to stream on the Netflix now.
