Platform: ZEE5 ZEE 5 has now offered a brilliant musical drama film 'Atkan Chatkan' which takes us through the inspiring story of a young passionate boy 'Guddu' (Lydian Nadhaswaram), child labour, who is full of music as he finds tune in every movement of the city from his own body to even a cup of glass.

The story starts with Guddu, who explores music while taking us along in the streets of the city, giving a glimpse of the miserable lives of the common people. The young boy whose drunkard father doesn't allow him to play music, dreams of getting into a music school someday.

And after facing so many hurdles, Guddu along with his friend Madhav meets 2 young orphans Mithhi and Chutkan who also have an interest in creating music. On his way to achieving his dream, Guddu now forms a band with Mithhi, Madhav, and Chutkan, and beautifies the whole city with his melodious creation of chords.

But it becomes difficult for Guddu to pursue his passion as living with a drunkard father and a little sister, Guddu is the man of the house who works hard to earn bread and butter for his family. And guess what, as always, the life of these dejected kids takes a U-turn when a principle of a music school in Jhansi, where the film is set, notices the band and gives them a chance to fulfil their dream by taking part in the music competition.

Directed by Saumyy Shivhare, the film has amazingly highlighted the middle-class feel of a poor boy who does every possible thing to learn music. The screenplay of the film is quite predictable as one can easily tell the forthcoming scenes. The film has used 'poverty' as a gimmick as nothing except the script makes the play engaging. However, the kids have done a great job in pouring out the touch of misery.

Lydian Nadhaswaram as Guddu has done a pretty good role as a gifted musician as he is a pianist in real life. Yash Rane as Madhav has done his job well as Guddu`s friend. The music of the film is quite appreciable as it goes with the flow.

Overall, the film is a musical tale of young kids with burning passion who do not let the hurdles of life come in their way of achieving success.
