A leading entertainment portal revealed an NCB statement stated by Sushant's staffer Dipesh, reads, "Sushant was introduced to weed by a boy named Karan. Although he never brought drugs, Dipesh said that he was asked to work for free, but fired. In January 2020, he received a call from SSR. Dipesh said that Sushant called him from his cook's phone and informed him that he wanted to quit acting and shift to Lonavala, and wanted them to work together again. Dipesh also revealed that he found Sushant taking drugs just two-three days after working for him in 2018."
On Sunday morning, Rhea Chakraborty was summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau, due to her involvement in the drugs probe angle in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. The investigation officers reached her house today to serve her summon. The NCB said in its remand application that Rhea's brother Showik has given so many names with whom he was dealing in drugs.
Sameer Wankhede, NCB's joint director said in an interview with ANI, "Summons have been served to Rhea. She was at her home. She will be coming to the NCB office on her own." Today, at around 12:00 p.m Rhea reached the NCB office.
The NCB is more into the investigation after WhatsApp chats retrieved from Rhea Chakraborty's phone revealed an alleged conversation about procuring drugs between her and Sushant Singh Rajput's house manager Samuel Miranda, who was also arrested by the NCB on Friday along with Rhea's brother.
