Director Himanshu Shekhar left everybody mesmerized with his new song 'Humko Kuch Nahi Malum', which crossed 3 million views within 4 days of release. Shekhar, who has also penned lyrics for it, feels ecstatic to receive such a great response.

"We, at OSM Records, have been blessed with a very active subscriber base. So, we were confident that people will like this high powered peppy number. The only surprise was the extent to which we were supported for this non-commercial and indie song," he says.


Unlike most songs of today's time, which hold no depth or meaning, 'Humko Kuch Nahi Malum' gives listners a view of life. Talking about the inspiration behind it, the debut lyricist states, "The curiosity since inception has been the reason behind the progress of mankind. To question the unknown, you have to admit that there are things, circumstances and phenomena which are unknown. The more you are sure of the limitations of the known, the better your chances are of understanding the unknowns."

Himanshu believes that the information age expects us all to be informed and if 2020 is anything to go by, we definitely don't know a lot of it.
