Anurag Kashyap, Kunal Kamra Present Arnab Goswami framed 'Chappals' for 'Excellence In Journalism' Award

In what seems to be adding fuel to fire, film director, Anurag Kashyap, and comedian Kunal Kamra paid a visit to Republic TV Managing Director and Editor-In-Chief, Arnab Goswami to present the award for ‘excellence in journalism’ on Thursday.

Taking a jibe at Goswami, Anurag Kashyap shared that he and Kunal Kamra went to see Goswami, but were not allowed without prior permission. They had a ‘chappal’ framed as an award for Goswami.

Comedian Kunal Kamra doesn’t share a good relationship with the Republic TV MD after videos of the comedian questioning Arnab Goswami in a flight surfaced on the internet. He took to social media and shared the picture oustside Arnab's office and wrote, "Birthday boy @anuragkashyap72 & me went to the @republic’s office to give Arnab an excellence in journalism award... Republic security said bina permission ke allowed nahi hai..."

Anurag Kashyap too shared the post and wrote, "Best birthday everrr .. उसने पूछा था , “किधर हूँ मैं ?” तो मैं गया । बोला बिना permission अलाउड नहीं है । यह @republic वालों को भी permission लेना चाहिए ना ।"
