'The Train' which was to reach the silver screen on May 18 will now be running behind schedule. This Emraan Hashmi, Sayali Bhagat and Geeta Basra starrer will now be seen in theatres on June 8th.

Co-director Raksha Mistry believes that it will give them more time to promote the film.

"There was no sense in bringing it on the original planned date of May 18 since Subhash Ghai's 'Good Boy Bad Boy' had been confirmed for May 11" said Mistry. Guess two Emraan Hasmi starrers in consecutive weeks would not have gone down with the audience.

The 8th day of June was chosen since it was an open week with no releases for the day. According to Mistry, since the film has been postponed, "why not bring it to a comfort zone".

But Yash Raj production 'Jhoom Baarabar Jhoom' will be released just a week later? "I am sure they (producer and distributors) are aware about what they are doing and considered the pros and cons. I fully support their view point and decision" says Mistry.
