Secretly, Randeep Hooda has been shooting a slice-of-life romantic comedy entitled entitled Love Game.
"I'm getting to flirt with a different girl almost every other day," Randeep grins. "My co-star keeps changing and it's invariably one attractive co-star after another. I feel like a child in toystore."
After playing guys who prefer the company of guns and ghouls, Randeep changes to a cool school. And he's got what he calls "seven very beautiful and talented actresses" for company. These actresses are Rituparna Sengupta, Divya Dutta, Riya Sen, Sadaa, Kalpana Pundit, Jesse Randhawa and Rakhi Sawant.
And he's very happy. "Love Game is a very funny and light film. I haven't done one of those yet. And I'm having a ball. As far as the ladies go, this character is the closest to my heart. If so far in my films I haven't been shown as a ladies' man that isn't my fault. In Love Game I play a very real guy with very real issues with the ladies."
In Love Game Randeep gets to work with Sreenivas who earlier made Paisa Vasool with Manisha Koirala and Sushmita Sen.
"I was supposed to do Paisa Vasool ( the role that Sushant Singh dis finally). But due to my recruitment into Ram Gopal Varma's Factory I couldn't do Paisa Vasool and Vishal Bhardwaj's Maqbool. Not that I regret it. I did what I had to do it.
Anyway my director and I came up with this idea of a man and seven women. But it didn't seem like the right time to do it then. Today I can afford to be promiscuous, at least on screen".
