Metro is their second film together, after Sudhir Mishra's Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi. The two pretend to be complete strangers on the sets.
There was some tension between the two ever since they worked together in Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi. Shiney walked away with all the accolades for the film, even though Kay Kay was the film's hero.Apparently this led to some unpleasantness.
Shiney and Kay Kay were very formal and cold towards each other. Although they do not have scenes together, there were quite a few occasions when they were present together on the same day on the sets.
However, as expected, Kay Kay denied having any trouble with Shiney. He said, "We did not have any scenes together in the film. Why would I ever have a problem with Shiney? Shiney has worked with me in the very first film of his career, while I am a senior actor.
If I have to do a good scene, I need to collaborate with my co-actor and the director. I don't believe in the individualistic form of acting at all. There is no question of me not getting along well with my co-star professionally.
I might have a tiff with someone in my personal life but never in my professional life because that would only spoil my scenes and also the film. At least credit a veteran actor like me with that much sense."
Meanwhile, Shiney refused to comment on the subject.
