Tabu has walked out of the Honey Irani`s directorial debut project and has been replaced with Gracy Singh. The Hyderabadi actress had earlier signed Anupam Kher`s maiden venture Om Jai Jagdeesh only to leave without so much as a by-your-leave.

So what`s new? That seems to be her favourite pastime. In the last six months, she has accepted and then declined five major projects.But what made her close buddies chide her was her decision to allot bulk dates to M F Husain`s Do Kadam Chal Ke Dekho opposite Rahul Khanna. Everyone knows that it would be another abstract film. The real reason though is neither the films, nor the storylines or even the long shooting schedules. It`s Anil Kapoor. All the films she has dropped out of had Anil in the lead. What could be Tabu`s reason to refuse films with the star with whom she made perfect on-screen chemistry in the Priyadarshan film, Viraasat?

The critically acclaimed actress evades the issue diplomatically: "I want my space in films. I`d rather do films where I get to perform." Does it mean that with Anil around, her chances of displaying her talent turn dim?
