After the grand success of 'The Great Indian Laughter Challenge' I and II, the humour show enters a new phase in its third 'avatar' with a 36-episode talent hunt
contest.
With 50 contestants and ten weekly winners the 18-week 'The Great Indian Laughter Challenge III' would bring talent scouted from eleven cities, said Paritosh Joshi, 'Star
One' Vice-President (Sales).
''The 'Season III' would be a reinvented show with greater talent participation. including from Pakistan, and in a new format that would see it spread over two days instead of
presently one.''
The show was evolving with participants from neighbouring countries and we hope to continue making people laugh the way we have done in the
past, infact in a much more spriteful and lively way, he elaborated.
Starting May 18, the one hour programme would stretch to two days a week -- Friday and Saturday at 2100 hrs -- and see the return of Shekhar Suman and Navjot Singh
Sidhu as judges, Mr Joshi added.
