While shooting for Sanjay Khanduri's Ek Chalis Ki Last Local Neha Dhupia faced a tough time.

A crowd that had gathered to watch her shoot with co-star Abhay Deol pelted them with stones when the actors refused to oblige them with autographs!

The actress says that it was bizarre and she had never been in a situation like this before. A huge crowd of over 1,000 people gathered and stood around quietly while Neha and Abhay shot but as soon as they packed up things went out of hand.

The crowd started asking the stars for autographs and to pose for pictures with them.

Neha says, "We thought smiling and waving at them would do the trick, but they wanted handshakes. Seeing that the crowd was getting restless, we decided it was best not to do anything and ran to our vanity vans.

Suddenly the mood turned ugly and the crowd got agitated. Before we knew it, they started pelting stones at us. Fortunately, I had reached my car and Abhay had reached his van so we didn't get hurt," says Neha.
