Reportedly an incident took place at the sangeet rehearsals at Ash-Abhishek wedding leaving debutant actor and Kirron Kher's son Sikandar seething.

Apparently, a war of words ensued between bosom buddies Kher and director Apoorva Lakhia over Kirron, a few days before the sangeet, when the rehearsals were on.

Hardly 15 people, including Shrishti Behl, Rohan Sippy, Sonali Bendre and Goldie Behl, Chirag Doshi, Apoorva Lakhia, Kirron and Sikandar Kher and Abhishek were present.

Kirron was choreographing the steps for non-dancers like Rohan, Apoorva, Ajay Devgan, Sunil Shetty and Sanjay Dutt for the Beedi jalai le song from Omkara.

With a song like Beedi, some steps are bound to look raunchy.

Obviously giving the same message to Sikandar causing him yo suddenly rush towards Apoorva telling him that his mother was getting uncomfortable. He felt that Apoorva was dancing too close to Kirron.

A stunned Apoorva, who had only been enjoying the dance, told Sikandar to take it easy. This upset him even more and they had a heated exchange.

Finally, it was decided that Kirron wouldn't dance in that song. A dance master dressed in drag took Kirron's place for the sangeet.

However, friendship was restored between the buddies the next day. Siku and Apu are extremely fond of each other and both realised that they had over-reacted.

At Sanjay Gupta's birthday bash (April 14), Siku apologised and they sorted the matter.
