If you thought Saif Ali Khan has crossed enough bridges to last him a life time here's more on the guy who can use maa-bahen expletives (in Omkara) as effortlessly as
race cars in New York.
This Wednesday (May 9) Saif Ali Khan walks the ramp for the first time.
"Yes, it's my first walk on the ramp. It's actually for a brand that I endorse (Provogue). They've asked me to walk the ramp. I'm supposed to be the closing act for their
fashion show and I'm as nervous as hell," mock-shivers the audacious actor who has just returned to Mumbai from a lengthy schedule of
Abbas-Mustan's
Race.
Why did Saif agree to do something so sartorially inclined?
"Why not?" he counters. "It shouldn't be too tough, really. I agreed because I always like to do something different. It could be playing the guitar or playing an uncouth
hit-man from UP .... I like to surprise myself. And very honestly it can't be harder than performing live and dancing on stage, could it?"
In his typical Saif-and-sound manner he immediately looks at the situation from both ends. "Actually, you know what? It'll be fun. Meher Jassia (who co-ordinates the show)
plans to make it look visually stunning. And Provogue are doing their best to make it a huge event. Let's see. I've a fingers crossed."
