B R Films's Bhootnath starring Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla has been delayed resulting in many stories n the SRK and Amitabh Bachchan war. One reason for the film's delay is because Amitabh Bachchan is yet to shoot for the film.

Rumours had it that Big B had asked the director Vivek Sharma to rework the script as he isn't quite satisfied with the way his role has shaped up.

Vivek Sharma, says that Amitabh Bachchan has not yet shot for the film because he faces some problems with the dates. He also denies their demand to rework on the script rework the script. The film has been delayed by three months largely due to Abhishek's wedding and Big B's commitment to Ram Gopal Varma's Sholay. Vivek vouches for SRK's respect for Mr. Bachchan.

However, sources still affirms a tension, between the two. In fact, it is a known fact that inspite of being projected as an Amitabh film, Shah Rukh has an equally strong role, in terms of the length and prominence. And that's the real reason for the film's delay."
