The film is a superhero action film set in the modern times which can be a trilogy but the director said they would confirm it depending upon the response to the first two parts. Speaking about the film, Aditya Dhar told a media portal, "The film requires a lot of planning because this is something that has never been done before, it is huge. The work is on in terms of writing,"
The film was scheduled to be shot in places like Greenland, Iceland, Tokyo, New Zealand, and Namibia. However, the shoot got postponed due to the lockdown following the COVID-19 crises. Now the film will be shot first in the UK before Iceland. The lockdown affected the work of many productions but Aditya said his work wasn't affected as his team was focusing on the pre-production work. The report also suggests that Vicky Kaushal will go for three-month preparation for his role.
Aditya is of the viewpoint that films like 'The Immortal Ashwatthama' should be served to the audience with a touch of mythology. As per the epic Mahabharata, Ashwatthama was the son of guru Dronacharya, who fought for the Kauravas in the battle of Kurukshetra.
