Laughter is the best medicine and this adage has been proved right by the Star One show's success. Yes, we are talking about 'The
Great Indian Laughter Challenge', which is having yet another successful fun-filled championship.
"The show is successful because it deals with the present time and is a calm balm for people," says Pankaj Saraswat, the creator of
the show. No doubt that it is popular among the people.
This time though, there will be another anchor along-side Perizaad and the designing of the sets will also be different from the last
time. "The show will be aired twice a week for a better dose of laughter," informed Pankaj.
Speaking about the recent jokes going vulgar for the family audience, Pankaj says, "There are other shows which are airing even
worse bullshit, but there is no fuss about them. Here the media is only blowing these small issues out of proportion". He also says
that such things will not be found in his show and the jokes will certainly be naughty, but certainly not vulgar.
Pankaj also has so much trust on the two judges of his show – Shekhar Suman and Navjyot Singh Sidhu, that he does not feel the
need for audience participation at the preliminary stages. However, there will be no changes in the audition process, he points
out.
All the best to you Pankaj, hope you have better doses of humor this time too. - (SAMPURN)
