Rhea Chakraborty has been recently granted bail by the Bombay High Court for being arrested in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. The actress was granted bail with 1 lakh bond while her brother Showik Chakraborty is still under arrest. Many have been putting allegations on the actress since the death of his boyfriend Sushant where some of them are false and baseless, says the actress.

Now, Rhea has filed a complaint against her neighbour Dimple Thawani, who claimed that she saw the actress with Sushant Singh Rajput on June 13. In her complaint, the actress said that Thawani made `patently false and bogus allegations against me, knowing them to be false, to mislead the investigation.`. She also highlighted the statement of her neighbour where she had said that Sushant had dropped Rhea on 13 June ( a day before his demise), which Rhea claims as utterly false.

The Central Bureau Of Investigation is investigating the SSR's death case and recorded Thawani's statement. However, media sources revealed when CBI questioned Thawani, she said she never saw Rajput and Rhea together on June 13, but had heard someone saying this.

Rhea's lawyer Satish Maneshinde requested the CBI to take legal action against 'who mislead the investigation'. In a statement, Maneshinde said, "We will start going after people who defamed and tried to destroy her (Rhea) life...for a 2-minute glory on electronic media carrying fake news. One such person was Dimple who claims she is an SSR fan and believes she is his soulmate due to a past life connection. She claims that someone told her that SSR dropped Rhea home on the 13th."

Talking about the same, Rhea's mother Sandhya said, "We know this neighbour. She was a huge fan of Sushant's who came over to our place to meet him once. Why she'd say something like this without proof is beyond me. One just has to look at Sushant or Rhea's cellular location to know this whole thing is just another lie," Sandhya had said.
