"I won't say I wasn't tempted. Who doesn't want to work with Mr Rakesh Roshan? I'd have been happy to be part of Krazy 4 because I am dying to do a comedy. Sadly there was little scope for me to perform," says Kangna.
The lass from Bhambla, in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh, who has been embroiled in several controversies in her two year Bollywood career added:
"When I expressed my misgivings Mr Roshan was very nice. Very different from some other filmmakers who turn nasty when you decline to do their films."
Kangna made her debut with the film Gangster last year. The film did well and Kangna's performance in it as Simran won critical acclaim and an award in just about all of the many Bollywood awards shows.
Kangna's next two films Woh Lamhe and Shakalaka Boom Boom both bombed at the box office and failed to earn kudos for the actress.
Kangna's fourth film, Life in a Metro, has just been released. Interestingly the film features an ensemble cast, just like Krzy 4, consisting of Shiney Ahuja, Sharman Joshi, Irfan Khan, Kay Kay Menon, Manoj Pahwa, Kangana Ranaut, Konkona Sen Sharma and Shilpa Shetty.
Kangna's reluctance to transition to a big banner film is intriguing. Her role in Krazy 4 has reportedly gone to Diya Mirza.
