Shah Rukh Khan, the superstar of Bollywood who is known for his philanthropic works has once again come forward to support his fellow countrymen. In these hard times of COVID-19, Shah Rukh Khan's Meer Foundation has donated 2,000 PPE kits to support the frontline workers in Chhattisgarh. Praising the actor for his initiative, the Chief Minister of Chattisgarh thanked SRK and his team for protecting the healthcare heroes of the country.

The Health Minister of Chattisgarh also expresses his gratitude towards SRK and his Meer Foundation.  He wrote, "I express my heartfelt gratitude to @iamsrk & @MeerFoundation for providing PPE kits to protect our frontline warriors. To this, Shah Rukh Khan replied that all are trying their best to support their brother and sisters in this hard time of coronavirus. Talking about King Khan's work front, after a long gap of two years, the actor all set to be back on the big screen as he is reportedly starting the shoot of his forthcoming film 'Pathan' from next month. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film will be backed by YRF and has Deepika Padukone in the lead role.

Reportedly, SRK has also joined hands with Tamil director Atlee for a project but the actor hasn't given a confirmation on that. It was also said that Shah Rukh will be seen in Raj Kumar Hirani's next one but that too needs to be confirmed yet.
